RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

Meadow House, Woodland House, Glass House, The Little House Next Door, Log Cabin, Hillside Cabin -

We hold reservations with a valid credit card and a $50 deposit that later applies to our guest’s reservation balance.

The Barn -

We hold reservations with a valid credit card and a $250 deposit that later applies to our guest’s reservation balance.

All reservation balances are due 30 days before our guest’s check-in date. If we are not able to reach guests for payment after multiple attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and proceed with re-renting the unit. It is the guest's responsibility to provide current and accurate contact information.

Guests should not arrive on-site without prior contact and payment.   

We require a 2-night minimum stay, except for major holidays (listed below), which are a 3-night minimum stay.

  • Christmas Eve / Day

 

CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS

Guests who cancel their reservation more than 30 days before their check-in date will receive a full refund, less a service fee (see below). 

Guests who cancel their reservation less than 30 days before their check-in date will not receive a refund and will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation unless the unit is re-rented. If the unit is re-rented for the entirety of the original reservation, the canceling guest will receive a full refund, less a service fee (see below). If the unit is re-rented for a portion of the original reservation, the canceling guest will receive a refund in correlation with the amount of re-rented days, less a service fee (see below).  

Guests who fail to cancel their reservation and do not arrive on their check-in date are responsible for the balance of their entire reserved stay.

In the unlikely event that a guest must shorten their stay after arrival, they will remain responsible for the full balance of the original reservation.

We reserve the right to treat a partial cancelation as a cancelation for the entire stay.

We regret we are unable to offer refunds due to inclement weather or family / medical emergencies.

More than 30 days before the guest's arrival: $25

Less than 30 days before the guest's arrival: $50

The Barn

More than 30 days before the guest's arrival: $50

Less than 30 days before the guest's arrival: $100

 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is between 3:00 - 8:00 pm. After 8:00 pm must be pre-approved. 

Check-out is at 10:00 am. No late checkouts.

 

CHILDREN

We welcome children of any age in the Log Cabin, Hillside Cabin, and The Barn. However, the premises are not childproof and parents are responsible for the safety of their children.

Children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the Glass House, Meadow House, Woodland House or The Little House Next Door.

ANIMALS & PETS

Pets are welcome in The Hillside and The Log cabins with a fee of $25 per animal. Animals and pets are not allowed in any other unit.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or linens. Guests will be charged a minimum $50 cleaning fee for violation.

We prefer that pets are not be left unattended in cabins unless they are crated. Pets are not to be left unattended tied up outside or in screened-in porches. Damage by a pet to the property is the pet owner’s sole responsibility.

Pets must not disturb other guests.

 

CARE OF THE UNITS

Guests shall leave the premises, unit, and furnishings in a clean and undamaged condition. We reserve the right to charge our guests for any repairs outside of normal maintenance, reasonable wear and tear, or for an unusual degree of cleaning. 

Guests shall not bring, keep, or have either inside or outside the premises any article or thing of a hazardous nature, including fireworks, explosives, flammable items, or gasoline.

 

EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION 

Should our guests encounter any malfunctioning equipment; including appliances, electronics, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, or lighting, they should notify the innkeeper right away. Every effort will be made to remedy the issue and make reasonable repairs as quickly as possible. No refunds will be made for the malfunction of non-essential equipment.

 

FIREWOOD

Firewood is available for a small fee. The Department of Natural Resources requires guests DO NOT transport firewood onto the premises.

 

OCCUPANCY

Occupancy and use of the premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding guests. All reservation holders must be 25 years of age or older. 

Quiet hours are observed property-wide from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.

Parties, gatherings or events (defined as any gathering of people at the property which exceeds the number of people sleeping at the property) are not allowed unless prior approval is given by the innkeepers. 

We reserve the right to verify the age of the reservation holder at any time and to refuse occupancy without proper identification. Misrepresentation of occupancy or any reported disturbance may result in requiring the offending guests to vacate the premises immediately and without refund.
